For recruiters, SDRs, finance & ops teams — anyone who gets files from strangers

Never open a stranger's
attachment again.
Preview it locally first.

Select a local PDF, DOCX, XLS/XLSX, CSV, supported image, or text/code file. Browser APIs read it locally — FileReader handles documents and data, while images use a browser-local object URL. The selected file's bytes never leave your browser, macros never execute, and nothing is uploaded. This build creates a local preview, not a hosted link.

◎ This is a local preview. Hosted share links and revocation are planned; join the free hosted-link waitlist below. This build does not upload files or create links.
Why bother

Three reasons it's safer than opening it.

0
File bytes uploaded to us
The file stays in a browser-only parser and is never uploaded. Supported content is re-rendered for preview; macros, embedded scripts, and auto-open payloads are never executed.
6
File families supported today
PDF, DOCX, XLS/XLSX, CSV, common images, and text/code files are rendered locally. Unsupported types receive a clear message instead of a risky fallback.
Next
Hosted links are planned
Hosted share links, branding, and revocation are roadmap items. They are not live in this browser-local build; access starts with a free waitlist.
How it works

Three moves. Zero uploads.

◎ STEP 01
Drop the file
Choose a file already on your device. PeekSafe reads it locally in the browser; the bytes never go to our server.
◎ STEP 02
We render it locally
Supported content is parsed without executing macros or embedded scripts, then re-rendered as a local preview.
◎ STEP 03
Peek, then decide
Review the local preview, then decide what to do with the original. This build does not create, store, or host a share link.

FAQ

The honest answers.

How does a local preview reduce risk?

PeekSafe uses browser-local APIs: FileReader handles documents and data, while images use a local object URL. The selected file's bytes never leave your browser. The previewer does not execute macros, embedded scripts, or auto-open payloads; it re-renders supported content locally.

What file types do you support?

Today: PDF, DOCX, XLS/XLSX, CSV, common image formats, and text/code files. If a type is not supported, you see a clear message rather than a risky fallback. Additional formats are planned.

Do you store my files?

The selected local file is handled by browser-local APIs; its bytes never leave your browser, so PeekSafe does not upload or store it. Hosted links and revocation are planned, not capabilities in this build. The free hosted-link waitlist records only the form and privacy-safe acquisition fields.

What is live now, and what is on the roadmap?

Unlimited browser-local previews are live and free now. Hosted share links, revocation, and branding are planned but are not available in this build. Join the free hosted-link waitlist if you want updates about that capability.

Who is this actually for?

Anyone who gets files from people they don't fully trust: recruiters opening resumes, SDRs opening prospect decks, finance & ops teams opening vendor invoices. If "should I open this?" is a daily question, PeekSafe is the answer.

Stop playing attachment roulette.
Just peek first.
